Study Director

The Study Director will be responsible for the technical conduct of nonclinical immunotoxicology studies conducted at BRT.


  • BS/MS degree with equivalent experience in toxicology, immunology, infectious disease, or related fields
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at one time
  • Good time-management skills and demonstrated ability to provide deliverables within specified timelines
  • Collaborative team player
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with rodent studies, flow cytometry, cell culture, and immunoassays preferred
  • 2+ years industry (pharmaceutical or CRO) experience, with knowledge and experience in a GLP environment, preferred


  • Serve as point of control for technical conduct of study
  • Interact with technical staff, Quality Assurance, Management, and client, as appropriate, during protocol generation, ongoing study, and generation of study report
  • Ensure that:
    • All experimental data are accurately recorded and verified
    • All applicable good laboratory regulations are followed
    • All raw data, documentation, protocols, specimens, and final reports are transferred to the archive at the close of the study

Additional qualifications (preferred, but not required)

  • PhD in toxicology, immunology, infectious disease, or related fields
  • Knowledge and experience in a GLP environment
  • Desire to work in a responsive and fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented individual dedicated to delivering quality results
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Good communicator able to work with internal staff and external clients
