Research Technician

BRT has an immediate opening for a full-time research technician to join our fast-paced and productive research team. 

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in science
  • 0-2 years of laboratory/research experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Performs laboratory analyst tasks and animal research
  • Records observations, measurements, and reports results
  • Adherence to study protocol and standard operating procedures
  • Experiment and assay set-up/development, quality control records
  • Performs additional daily laboratory operations as needed, including:
    • Cleaning, disinfecting, and general maintenance of equipment
    • Assisting with receipt and inspection of raw materials
    • Ordering and stocking of material

Additional qualifications (preferred, but not required)

  • ELISA or cell-based assay experience
  • Toxicology or immunology research experience
  • Working with animal models
